Welcome to Club Sandwich Cabaret

  Happy Birthday, Liz!

You’ve provided our Queen Theme for June

Born on April 21 (too close to ANZAC Day and no-one’s taking Easter from us) in Australia, the Queen of England jolly well has her birthday in June, when it’s high time for us to have an unmitigated public holiday.

Mistress of the pastel Duster coat and immoveable weighted hems, Her Royal Highness has been a beacon of style and stability in an increasingly mad world. Whether it’s turning the other cheek to Phil’s endless array of unmentionable outbursts, or making sensible small talk with quasi-deserving OBE recipients, QEII’s maturity and breeding have inspired rafts of devoted imitators, some of whom wear even brighter, more expensive clothing, more layers of makeup, and much higher shoes than she does.

So wear your best tiara, or polish up the crown jewels for a night of royal variety entertainment at…well where else? The Royal Exchange of course!

The show is two hours including interval, and acts range from 5 to 30 minutes,
to keep it interesting and always changing.

It’s dedicated variety entertainment…because life’s to short to be bored!!
